Evol-HUE-tion Sock Yarn... Color Flowing Gracefully

Imagine knitting socks that flow from one hue to the next hue gradually
and gracefully. You can choose a yarn that flows just
just from one hue to another in
each sock, as shown in these two photos.

Most of the yarns knit up like the sock shown at left, evolving from one color to another and then back again.
Don't limit this yarn to socks; how would a vest look knit up from this wonderful, dynamic yarn?
Evol-HUE-tion yarn is wound into center-pull balls for your
convenience. Each ball contains approximately 425 yards of sport
weight
yarn, 85% wool and 15% nylon. This
wool is hand-washable. It is not as soft as merino and as such is
probably not ideal for items such as scarves. It's quite simply a
lovely farm yarn.
Choose your method:
Knit in the traditional manner, one sock at a time. I have either
tied a knot or a yarn flag at the approximate center point of the yarn
ball so that you can plan your sock more efficiently. The flag
hangs out from the ball for easy identification. Each skein has
been rinsed in Eucalan after dyeing and before being wound into a ball.
Knit two socks at a time with Evol-HUE-tion Sock Yarn: just work from
both the center-pull end and the outside end and stop when you reach
the middle!
I will not be offering color choices here on my web site because by
choice there is so much variety and uniqueness from batch to
batch.
The production of Evol-HUE-tion Sock Yarn involves many steps, hard work and color joy.
Because of the pace at which I dye and the new color ways that I
develop, it's not possible for this site to keep up with the color ways
that are available.
So where can you find them?
